When designing assets for games, they often need to follow specific guidelines, whether they are part of a larger set of similar assets or a progression in some way, like different levels of the same item. There are various ways to handle that task – most of the time I end up outlining just the very basic properties and alterating them as needed while I progress. In other cases I start with the first and last item of a set and then work on the inbetweens.
